Party Time!

Noah had his big birthday bash yesterday and it was an excellent day! It was a full house and we appreciate all of you who came by! The weather was beautiful and we thank the Lord that Noah was feeling much better. He was a bit overwhelmed by it all, but did especially enjoy playing with his cake, even if he couldn't eat it. He worked on squishing it with intense concentration! He was pretty partied out by evening and wasn't too interested in his gifts. Kailyn & Joshua certainly had fun opening them all! But this morning he had a great time enjoying his balloons and some of his new toys.

What a party it was. We were so excited to be there Noah, and enjoyed celebrating this milestone in your life. You continue to amaze us. A song by Chris Tomlin goes like this:
"You made it all, said "let there be", and there was, all that we see. The sound of your voice, the work of your hands. God, YOU do ALL things well" Amen to that!!Love you buddy. love grnany and grandpa

Okay I have never commented on someones blog before that I don't know but I was blog searching and somehow through one of our links I connected to yours and just felt like I had to speak.

What a rough year you have had you are so strong to have gotten through this tough time.

My daughter is 13 months old and has been quite sick - and is just finally starting to pick up the pace here. She currently has acid reflux, severe milk/soy protein allergies, and was born with pyloric stenosis which is treatable but it went undiagnosed for a bit longer than it should have. She is on neocate and has been tested for cystic fibrosis, celiacs, etc.. etc.. I myself have congenital heart disease and a bilateral cleft lip and palate.

I know that this is a tough road but you seem to be coping better than I have! It's been really hard talking to my friends about all of our struggles - because although they are concerned and care they just don't always get it. If you ever need someone to talk to that has been there please feel free to leave a message on my blog. I hope I don't scare you because I know that if someone left a message on my blog I would be terrified....
