Still Stuck

God continues to teach us patience as we pray that Noah and Nichole can come home soon. It has been over a month now and although Noah is doing really well, he is having difficulty retaining all of his feeds and therefore still needs his IV to subsidize his fluids.

There is no "pause" button on life though. Kailyn and Joshua and I miss their mom and Noah a lot and ask for prayers that we can have them home soon.

If you are reading this and wondering what you can do for us, just let me say this. God is good and has given us Noah and all the miracles done through him so far. Do not let the glory of God be overshadowed by anything we may consider hardship. Share Noah's story and more importantly God's power and goodness to those around you everyday.

Hi I came across your blog via my husband's cousin. He sent us your link becasue we have walked in similar shoes. We have a baby girl who was born 10 weeks early. She required heart surgery, gtube, a trach, and spent the first 10 months of life in the hospital. I hope you receive the peace and happiness from the Lord that you well deserve. We will be praying for you and would love to stay in contact with your family from time to time if you are interested. Our daughters blog is called Emma Grace's Place if your interested in our story.
Best Wishes,
Alissa Ford

Thanks for the update, Brad. We keep you all in our prayers. Many ask how things are going and I always tell them to please pray. I don't think you will ever know how much prayer is out there for Noah and your family. We do know that God has a plan and we pray that you will be stengthened and encouraged today.
Trials come to pass they don't come to stay. Love Auntie Hilda

I check your blog on occassion and think of you little Noah almost everyday!

I have had 2 open heart surgeries and also a bi-lateral cleft repair.

My daughter although has had non of the above has had her own struggles and continues to struggle with severe allergies that keep her on neocate as her main form of nutrition.

My heart goes out to you!
