~~Merry Christmas 2006~~
Merry Christmas!! It has been wonderful to spend the past few days with family and watch our children enjoy their gifts. We've stuffed ourselves with too much food and spent our days being just plain lazy. Who could ask for more? It felt a bit strange to have our family come to us this year, but nice not to have to travel anywhere. Please continue to pray for health as Noah continues to have fevers and pain from his stoma. We will see our pediatrician tomorrow and hopefully we can figure out what is going on.

Hi Nichole,
I came across your blog several months ago when my son was going to have a Nissen Fundoplication--I found your entry on Noah's blog and begin to read on about Noah's journey. I check in with you guys through your blog reguarly and always marvel at your faith. I'm sure at times you must feel like Job--and like Job, your faith in God is amazing. I've prayed for your strength and faith as I've treaded the waters with my own special needs son. This month my little boy, Ezekiel "Zeke", went into the hospital to have cranial reconstructive surgery. I thought of you during our time in the hospital. Zeke had unexpected complications and was brain damaged. He went to be with Jesus two weeks ago today. Throughout these two long and draining weeks, I've thought of you often. People always comment on how much faith and strength God has given my husband and me, but I don't always feel faithful and I don't always feel strong. But God is faithful--He's seeing us through our journey as He's seeing you through yours. If you ever ask "why me, God? why our family?" know that you are reaching out and witnessing to people all over the world. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. It's amazing how God uses such little guys in such big ways. I will continue to pray for you and with you on your journey with Noah.

Nichole and family,
I love all the great family pictures. You have a big beautiful family. Noah is getting so big. I see his face is filling out. He's so handsome. I'm so glad you all had a wonderful Christmas. I'll continue to pray for Noah and for the fevers and pain to go away.
Love you all!
