All Fixed Up!

Monday couldn't have gone more smoothly...shocking, yes, I know!!

I called our home nutrition nurse first thing Monday morning, who arranged for Noah to go to radiology after his ultrasound. So we went in for his kidney ultrasound...the "stone" or "whatever it is" as the doctor stated, is still there and unchanged. He was a bit more convinced this time that it was a true stone, but still not entirely sure. But, since it doesn't seem to be causing any problems, for now we will just continue to monitor it and see what it does. Then it was off to radiology who took Noah in immediately and within 10 minutes, his GJ tube was back in place and ready to use! We were thrilled that everything went so well and that we avoided having to go through the ER!

And yesterday Noah finished off his 6 weeks of antibiotics. It's always a bit scary going off them. I always feel safer with them on board, but it is certainly nice to not have to run them every 6 hours! It makes our daily routine so much easier! TPN clinic tomorrow, and then hopefully the rest of the week is quiet.

Hi all! Glad to hear that Noah is doing well and he didn't have to get admitted.

I pray he gets over his head cold.

Still praying everyday for you guys.

Much love!

I have just found your blog through the feeding support group. You and your family are amazing. I am currently mom to 6, as I have 2 foster children. 3 of the 6 have medical issues, one has a GB, another was on TPN for 6 long months!(he has some similar dx as your youngest) You are creative and your children are beautiful!
Anyway, I hope all is well for your holiday!
amber BTW I have a Noah as well. :^)
