God's Garden

God looked around his garden
And found an empty place
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered ‘Peace be Thine’.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
It broke our hearts to loose you
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you
That day God called you home.

A beautiful poem, Nichole, and reminds us all of God's love and how He is holding Noah close.

I thought I had commented on your last several posts, but I don't see it. It must have disappeared into the blogosphere. Rest assured that I check your blog daily and include you and your family in my prayers.

"guess were chopped liver if he only takes the best"

Interesting comment here...(anonymous of course)...Yes, I understand that this poem is not theologically sound. But I don't think that was the author's intended point. It is just something that happens to bring me some comfort.

And yes, to me, my son was the best (although I may be just a bit biased here)! But thankfully, through God's grace, we have ALL been given the choice to enter into "God's Garden" one day.

Well said Nichole.
So glad that the Lord is providing things, even if they are small things, that can bring you some comfort. We are praying for you.
