Home!

A beautiful, spring day and we are home!!

Noah was moved to the ward yesterday and did well overnight. We did have to start the Nexium again today, as he is having old blood draining from his NG tube that seems to come and go. Today it was just a matter of getting our CPAP teaching done and then he was able to be discharged. We are so glad to be home, however an hour after we got home, both Kailyn & Joshua started throwing up. So I've been cleaning up puke all evening, and praying that Noah will stay safe. Anyone know where we can get one of those bubbles like on the latest Huggies commercial???

This evening Noah was all over the house, into everything...Brad & I sat and marveled at the energy he had tonight that we have not seen in so long. I don't know if it's the CPAP or just that he is feeling better, but we are hoping it will last. So now Noah is all hooked up to his CPAP, oxygen, TPN and monitors...all is quiet other than the odd beep...hopefully our first night at home goes well. And hopefully this is a longer stay at home.

Thank you, Jesus! Thank You so much for protecting this precious family. Thank You for protecting Noah when he needed You most!

Please protect Noah from getting this virus from his sweet brother and sister! And please help Kailyn and Joshua feel better very soon!

Be with Nichole and Brad, too, as they take care of everyone.

I am so glad you guys already have the CPAP and are HOME!!!!! Praise God!!!

Hang in there! We are praying.

Well, dad is sick too, but i can't believe both of the kids are sick. We are praying Noah doesn't catch anything. We should be there around lunch tomorrow, depending how dad is feeling. Will these flu's never end? So glad you are home, and hopefully for a very long long time. Love mom

Yeah for Noah! Coming home and having energy...what a blessing. But two sick kids, not fun. Hope today is a good day.

Praise the Lord that you got home! Hope Kailyn and Josh are better soon and don't spread anything. I continue to marvel that you, Nichole, can do all this medical stuff at home. Hope you can all settle in for a nice long relaxing and enjoyable spring. Love, Grandma L.

I am so, so, so happy that Noah is home and you are home too! I can't imagine being in the hospital with one child (who so clearly needs you) and having two children at home missing you...

I'm sorry that Kailyn and Joshua are sick, but at least mommy is home to take care of them... we all want mommy when we're sick!

Praying that the flu stays confined to the two kids and everyone else stays healthy... and the kiddies are over it soon.

Welcome home!

Julia

So glad to hear you are HOME!!! Long may it stay that way. Hope Kailyn and Joshua feel better soon and that they hoard those germs to themselves.

Wash hands, wassh hands, wash hand. Repeat.

(But I know you know that...)
