A quick update...
We are still home, waiting this out. Noah is quite up and down...looking good for a while, then looking yucky again. He is requiring his oxygen throughout the day, but I do think his lungs are sounding better than a couple of days ago. I seem to have picked up this virus too and feel pretty wrung out myself.
On September 21/05 we were blessed with a beautiful son. Born with a chromosome 12q deletion (q15q21.2), the challenges were many...cleft lip/palate, complex feeding issues, developmental delays, failure to thrive, multiple infections, blood clots, asthma, sleep apnea, GI and pulmonary bleeds, TPN dependency and kidney issues. Noah embraced life and taught us how to love. On July 29/09, Noah's journey ended, leaving us on a new journey...this journey on the pathway of grief...

- I am mom to 3 beautiful children. I also work casual as a nurse. Our life is a crazy one, and nothing like we ever expected it would be. Yet, this journey has changed me and the way I view others. And it has helped us slow down and enjoy the most precious things in life. I wouldn't trade those lessons for anything.

I feel like a broken record, but I am sure God does not mind my broken record prayers for you guys... so...Just a note to tell you that we are still praying for you guys!!! I am praying for you now, too...that you will feel better soon! :)
Well, I am certainly glad that you are still home...was worried you were going to boomerang right back to hospital! I'm sure it is SO much nicer for Noah to be home, for oyu all to be together etc. No doubt your own immune system is pretty tired out - you've been through an awful lot in the last weeks...it's been such a period of highs and lows. Do your best to take care of yourself (I know that can be hard when your child has special needs and is unwell himself) - always feel more fortitude when you're feeling healthy yourself.
Hope you're seeing some signs of spring in Winnipg - we've seeing some flowers just starting to pop a wee bit out of the ground.

I agree with Allison. the stress of all you have een through is bound to catch up with you. We are praying especailly that noah can continue to fight this. We know that God is fighting for him, Praying that you can rest and just enjoy your time at home. No baby here yet. Jamie has an apt. this morning. Hopefully she is dilated more. She is just hugh. anyway, love you guys. mom
Happy to hear that you are still home and hanging in there. Hoping and praying that both of you kick this virus sooner than later. Get some rest, and think about all the yummies we'll have at our girls night. hugs to my Bean
